Reviews
Inventing the Radio

"The Breakthrough Inventions Series is a very good resource for the junior/Intermediate level. While the books are easy to read, the articles do not go into great depth, generally one-quarter to one-half page. Most items are accompanied by a photograph. The page layout would be excellent for use with a reluctant reader or for students in an ESL program as well as the average student. These books would provide a Jr./Intermediate student with a starting point for a short research project." —Resource Links, 02/08
