Percentage - Children's Literature
“My Path to Math” is a multi-volume series of which this title is a part. The book’s purpose is to make math concepts easy to understand and this book has its strong and weak points. The introduction is very well done and there is excellent reinforcement for each concept. The “Butterflies” chapter is particularly useful as it relates specifically to earlier discussion on page eight. The same is true of the lunch time example and the authors have applied each idea to a new situation. The illustrations on page twenty-three are excellent. What are the negatives?
