See for Yourself: Body Science - Children's Literature
I opened Body Science, expecting to see the facts I already know displayed in a new, more colorful format. I assumed they would be facts I knew because I feel fairly well informed about the human body. However, I must not have been paying close enough attention in science class, because I was fascinated by this book. It is short at only 24 pages, and much of those pages are dominated by large, colorful pictures, but it packs in enough facts about the human body to teach most readers a thing or two. In this day and age, when culture is so obsessed with looks, teaching your children about what is under the skin.
