Four new titles have been added to Learning About Our Global Community. Created to support the C3 Framework for Social Studies State Standards, this inspired series takes young readers on a journey beyond their own communities to learn about aspects of daily life in other places around the world. Inviting text, accessible maps, and vibrant photographs work together to explain how culture and other characteristics, such as environment, affect people's lives and help determine how they meet their needs. These rich and varied examples of life help cultivate global perspectives and an appreciation for the wonderful diversity in our world!
